About lakes and sheep (diary)

For half of this month, it felt like I was just traveling around Germany with my friends, and honestly, all of these trips feel slightly like a fever dream. To avoid forgetting the small details, I’ll note down parts of what happened.✎ ⋆⑅˚₊

After a 8 hour long road trip with L&M to the most south-western part of Germany, we got to spend some beautiful days with S’s family.

About the fun of life (diary)

Wow, it feels like I blinked once and April was already over…

Happy May, everyone!!

Let’s welcome arguably the best month of the year and appreciate all that it has to offer!

Before we focus on the future, I want to take this entry to reminisce about the past few weeks and all the good things that have been happening in my life.

As you can see from my only April blog post about the things I love about home, the month started with me spending time with my family — a much-needed break. Even though I was still plagued by one unfinished essay, I had a good time filled with procrastination and knitting, my cat Bazi, and lots of conversations with family. After almost two weeks of escaping my busy city life, I made my way back — and with that, I finally sat down and finished that silly essay of mine.
(It would’ve only been half as silly if I had been allowed to write more about the content of my research instead of focusing so much on the methods — but it was a seminar about sociolinguistic methodology, so I couldn’t really get into the interesting parts too much… Let’s see if my teacher thinks I did a good job :p )

Anyway, I sent it in — and I was free! 𓇢𓆸
